In the Middle of Spring Break.... 3/26/06
We are enjoying Spring Break!We took the kids and thier friends to Castles and Coasters last night. Just a round of mini golf after dark. But it was so nice.It wasn't very crowded, a Tuesday night. The weather was perfect, and we all laughed and had a great time.I forgot how fun that is. I don't think I have been to play a round of putt putt since Sara was a baby,18 years, yikes.How does that happen. We went all the time when I was a teen. It looks just the same too.I am also enjoying sleeping in. I love it!I am not loving the job hunting though. I am so sick of sending resumes out. I just want the perfect office job.I will make that office run like clockwork.I just need to find the office.I am loving the extra time with my kids. The time to have little conversations, take time to sit and listen a little longer.Saturday I took Meg to Souflez. They had an Easter cookie decotating class. It was wonderful. The kids got to roll out and cut their cookies. Robbin, the owner is super with kids. As the cookies baked the kids made their frosting. Each table had four of five kids at it, so they all shared their frosting. The decorating of the cookies was truly a sugar high! But each young one went home with a big pink bakery box full of all their cookies. Oh wait, I have to get all these kids that aren't mine home, go to an interview at 3:00 and keep pounding the pavement for a new job. humph, spring break, it is great!
